At the Fargo Basketball Academy, we know that real game experience is just as important to a player's development as consistent practice. We want to help our players to have as many opportunities to improve their skills as possible, so we've compiled a list of tournaments to provide coaches with an easy reference. We are not the contact for any of these tournaments, but we are continuously updating the list. NOVEMBER 2024

• NOVEMBER 23: DLYA BASKETBALL TOURNAMENT [5-on-5]- Devils Lake, ND. Grades 4-8 Boys and Grades 4-8 Girls. Registration Fee: $200. 3 game guarantee. Registration Deadline: Friday, November 15, 2024. • DECEMBER 1: THANKSGIVING 2v2 TOURNAMENT [2-on-2]- Grand Forks, ND. Grades 3-6 Boys and Grades 3-6 Girls.  Registration Fee: $50. 3 game guarantee.  Register online here. Tournament Contact: Kadynn Melquist by phone or email. Additional Information: Games played at Shoot 360 Grand Forks. Teams can be comprised of 2-3 players. No coach needed; games are facilitated by Shoot360 coaches. Each division is scheduled for 90 minutes. Athletes will be active for the full 90 minutes.  If not scheduled for a 2v2 game, they'll be in a competitive option using the Shoot360 technology, either on a shooting court or skills court.

• DECEMBER 7-8: BUFFALO WILD WINGS WINTER WARM UP PRESENTED BY RISE UP BASKETBALL ACADEMY [5-on-5]- Fargo, ND. Grades 4-8 Boys and Grades 3-6 Girls. Registration Fee: $200. 3 game guarantee. Registration Deadline: Wednesday, November 20, 2024. Register online here. Tournament Contact: John Bright by phone or email. Additional Information: Games played at Empire Sports Complex. Alternate venues secured, if needed, all with excellent basketball facilities. Teams will play 1-2 games on Saturday and 1-2 games on Sunday, depending on the division format. Our of town teams will be given travel time and play later on Saturday evening. Individual medals awarded to place winners. Admission will be charged. Concessions available at each location. Tournament rules and information provided once your team is accepted. Final brackets will be sent out 1 week before the tournament. One or two North Dakota teams at each grade level from the Jr. Grand Am will earn bids to play in this 8-team championship, which includes a minimum of one game on the main Target Center floor - the home court of the NBA Timberwolves and WNBA Lynx. The five states providing teams are ND, SD, IA, WI and MN.
